So, I go ages without people commenting on my poetry and such here, and then, suddenly, I submit a handful of silly amateur photos, one of which contains a negligible amount of cleavage, and I'm bombarded with comments. I won't pretend I don't appreciate the comments (Well, a few of them I could do without, the more perverted and aggressive ones namely) so thanks everyone. I must say, I am having great fun with my originally silly idea to have a fun way to pass a slow work day. I've moved back upstairs now into what I affectionately call my lair, the upstairs cavity in my house that is also known as our sauna, because of how unbearably hot it gets up here. I find it rather nice though, I like the privacy. Part of moving back into the lair was discovering old journals full of drawings I had until now forgotten about. Now I'll admit this. Two things have led to this note I suppose. The first, being without a laptop has compelled me to explore previously semi-dry conduits of creative energy, in order to fill my time when I'm not busy with school, work, or reading 100 Years Of Solitude and/or Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell (Both are excellent, so far, you should read them) and second, I wholeheartedly miss having an online community to turn to when I want to share something, whether it a poem or a thought.
